About Wendy Lawrance

Wendy Lawrance was born and grew up in Surrey, attending school in Esher, where she developed an early interest in English Literature, especially that of the First World War.

After twenty years running her own business in the graphic design industry, Wendy decided to fulfil her life’s ambition and become a writer and author, which she has now been doing professionally for nearly twenty years, becoming a recognised academic authority on First World War Literature, in which area she has published over fifty titles.

In recent years Wendy has written three historical romance fiction books with the First and Second World Wars as a background.

Wendy lives on the border of the South Downs National Park in beautiful West Sussex with her husband.
